Quilt name: For Malcolm's Eyes Only

This is the finished quilt, about 43" x 44.5 " for my grandson, Malcolm, who will be 1 yr Sept 10th 2010. I will be entering his quilt in the Quiltfest in Jacksonville that goes on Sept 23-25, 2010 in Jax, Fl. It is a wonderful event with gads of vendors, wonderful quilts and great food. It will be the place to be in 2 weeks.
UPDATE (9/12/2010): I was unable to enter this quilt this year in the Quiltfest, due to a (senior moment on my part), but 2011, 3rd wk in Sept, look out it will be on display. I gave this to Malcolm yesterday at his 1st Birthday Party.

birthdays, birthdays galore

'my love of my life'...Thomas had a BD Friday the 7th, and he turned 51. My eldest grandson, Orion Quinn turned 9 yrs yesterday. He is such a good-looking boy and looks so old. Seems as though he was in my arms yesterday. I haven't loaded the pics I took from yesterday to the flicker site. But as always I forget a few steps and have to ask my eldest to watch me. Going to find a pic of Orion to put here for the time being. This was taken on 4th of July @ my daughter's place. From lft to rt: Orion, Hildie (grandkids' grandmother from south Fl), da momma (jen), and Aiden, my other, adorable grandson (7yrs 4mo now)
